Théatre, with a notice and notes by Ch. Beauquier. Le Mariage de Figaro. Paris, Alphonse Lemerre, 1872. In-12 green morocco, spine ribbed, gilt title, crowned monogram, place and date in tail, gilt coat of arms in center of boards, double gilt fillet on edges, interior lace (Allô). Some very slight rubbing. Frontispiece portrait of the author by Bracquemond on chine appliqué. Edition of 171 copies on large paper; n°99 of 110 on Whatman. A very fine copy bearing the coat of arms of René-Jean-Baptiste REGNAULT, vicomte de SAVIGNY DE MONCORPS (1837-1915), a passionate collector of small 18th-century almanacs and a member of the Société des bibliophiles français and the Amis des Livres; he owned three libraries (one in Paris and the other two in Seillans in the Var and Saint-Raphaël); on his death, he left his almanac collection to the Musée des Arts décoratifs. (O.H.R. 1651.)
