*Anthropomorphic sculpture
depicting a standing warrior. He is dressed in a loincloth, while his head is topped by a pointed helmet adorned with a thirteen-fringed visor, held in place by a headband that ends in three parallel vertical straps falling to the back of the head. The head is imposing and the face expressive, with accentuated features. The almond-shaped eyes are deep-set and hemmed, with painted pupils. The nose is slender and decorated with a wide, V-shaped nasal ornament. The open mouth reveals all the teeth. The large, protruding ears are adorned with multiple circular earrings with pendants. The face is also decorated with geometric tattoos. The neck is broad and the rounded shoulders are sloping. The tubular arms are slender and the fingers are gently shaped. The right arm is bent and raised towards the shoulder, holding a weapon or other ritual object with a dog-shaped end resting on the shoulder. The legs, straight and wide apart, are massive, as are the broad feet. The whole body is covered with significant traces of manganese oxide.
