Miona Stefanovic (1985-)

Biographie : Miona STEFANOVIC, a Serbian artist, was born in Belgrade. In 2010 she completed her bachelor and master studies at Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Belgrade, majoring in ceramic design, graduating on the subject „unique sculptural ceramics“. In 2010 she obtained a status of an independent artist as a member of the Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia. She exhibited her work at more than 50 national and international exhibitions, participated at more than 10 art syposiums, and was a lecturer and tutor on different seminars and conferences in the field of sculptural arts. So far she had 5 solo exhibitions where she exhibited her paintings, sculptures and drawings. In 2020 she received an award in the 20th Belgrade Bienalle of Ceramics. In 2013 she cofounded a first gallery specialized in ceramic art in Belgrade – „Gallery 1250“. Besides ceramic sculpture her work includes hand drawings, paintings and illustrations.
