Ce Cochon de Morin. [MANUSCRIT ET AQUARELLES ORIGINALES PAR HENRIOT] sl, , sd [c. 1900]. In-4 of [1] f. title, [45] ff. and [1] f. colophon, all handwritten and illustrated on the front. Red morocco, four-ribbed spine, green morocco listel framing and gilt fillets on spine, boards and spine flaps, gilt title, gilt tr., in edged slipcase (G. G. Levitzky). UNIQUE EXEMPLAIRE entirely handwritten and illustrated with original watercolors by Henriot, who produced the final illustrated version (published in 1909) of this same Maupassant short story (originally published in the November 21, 1882 issue of Gil Blas under the pseudonym Maufrigneuse, then in the collection Les contes de la Bécasse).
