Some foxing on original covers. 12 etched compositions by Em. Bayard etched by J. Massard. Limited edition of 500 copies; no. 16 of the 150 first copies on large Japon impérial paper, with the illustrations in three or four states. (Vicaire III, 45-46.) A very fine copy enriched with a L.A.S. from Alphonse Daudet, 1 p. in-12, slnd (""Be happy, sir, here is the autograph you asked for. But my God! What are you going to do with it? [...]"").
