KAYAPÓ INDIAN TIARA, BRAZIL

Kamayura tribe. Mounted on a braided cotton spinneret, adorned with blunt yellow-fronted amazon feathers. The center is adorned with three large rectal blunt feathers of the Chloroptera macaw. Height: 40 cm, width: 37 cm. Very fine condition, unframed. II/B, Amazona ochrocephala. II/B, Ara chloroptera. Collected between 1954 and 1977. Pre-convention specimens exempt from any prohibition on sale. Provenance Marcel Isy-Schwart Collection (1917 - 2012), kept by the family.
