BIENNALE - Paintings, furniture & objets d'art

The traditional Classic Centuries sale will take place on February 14, 2023, focusing on the decorative arts of the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The sale will feature a selection of works representing a broad panorama of interior decoration, and is intended to unite the firm's various specialties. Beginning, as usual, with a wide variety of antique paintings, portraits, religious scenes and landscapes from various schools, the sale continues with works from the Haute Epoque, including a Virgin in Majesty Sedes Sapientiae, various Louis XV and Louis XVI pieces of furniture, including some stamped by Vassou, Chevalier, Migeon, Riesener and Criard, and a selection of earthenware, including 17th-century Nevers. Carpets and tapestries will round off the sale, including one from a Stella carton In the context of sales taking place at Hôtel Drouot, large or fragile furniture, carpets, objects and paintings will be stored in the Magasinage department of Hôtel Drouot. Access is via 6bis rue Rossini - 75009 Paris and is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 10am and from 1pm to 6pm. Hôtel Drouot's shopping service is independent of MILLON.
