Sale information

The Post-War & Art Contemporain sale on March 27, 2023 will bring together a selection of some one hundred works reflecting the diversity of international artistic creation in the second half of the 20th century and into the 21st century, the majority of which are new to the public market. The first chapter of the sale will focus on the Masters of Abstraction, including Pierre Soulages, Victor Vasarely and Jean Degottex, followed by the Supports/Surfaces movement, of which Jean-Pierre Pincemin is one of the most eminent representatives. The sale will also feature an exceptional group of works from the Figuration Narrative, Figuration Libre and Pop Art movements, with the dispersal of the Collection de Monsieur.P, a great art lover and friend of artists, who over the years has assembled a select group of works by Robert Combas, Jacques Monory, Tom Wesselmann and Erro, among other renowned artists. Publication of the sale on March 10. Condition reports, and additional visuals of the works are available on request from the department, before Monday March 27, 10am: artcontemporain@millon.com.
