The outer rim is marked by an engraved line. This ceremonial bowl was probably used for drinking hallucinogenic potions. Earthenware with beige slip, marks of time Olmec, Guerrero region, Mexico, 1000 - 400 B.C. 8.2 x 13.1 x 21.8 cm Provenance: former Yves Collet collection, 1968.
