featuring a standing divinity with stylized, refined features. Her bountiful belly symbolizes fertility, while her face exudes a mysterious, timeless expressiveness. Slightly mottled green andesite, sculpted and polished. Mezcala, type M10, Guerrero region, Mexico, 400-100 B.C. 28.9 x 7.8 x 5.6 cm Provenance: former Stéphane Janssen collection since 1968.
