featuring a face with embossed, incised superciliary arches. The half-open mouth and eyes are represented by two balanced cavities, giving it a protective gaze. Carved, polished and drilled speckled green stone Chontal, Guerrero region, Proto Teotihuacan, Mexico, 400 -100 B.C.
