CELLINI (Benvenuto).

The Life of Benvenuto Cellini, written by himself. Translation by Léopold Leclanché. [Paris, Quantin, 1881. In-8 gray half-maroquin with corners, spine ribbed and decorated, gilt title, date on tail, gilt fillet on covers, gilt head, illustrated covers and spine preserved (V. Champs). Spine a little faded, a few small rubs. 9 hors-texte etchings by F. LAGUILLERMIE and enhanced reproductions of Cellini's works in text. Slight spotting, paper a little yellowed in places. A fine copy on Hollande with a suite of etchings and head and tailpieces printed on Japon avant la lettre.
