L'Evangile de l'Enfance de Notre Seigneur Jésus Christ selon Saint Pierre mis en français par Catulle Mendès d'après le manuscrit de l'abbaye de Saint Wolfgang. Paris, Armand Colin, sd [1894]. In-4, bradel blond morocco with large cold decoration on front cover, cold title on spine and front cover, gilt head (publisher's binding). Spine and edges lightly sunned, with a few small rubs. Fine edition illustrated on every page with Art Nouveau compositions and color illustrations by Carlos Schwabe: 14 full-page illustrations, 9 pages with bistre frames, 13 compositions around the text, and 83 floral frames, some of which are repeated. Unnumbered copy of the current edition (after a limited deluxe edition of 150 numbered copies). A good copy in a fine publisher's binding.
