Large in-8, bradel-bound in dark green exotic half-leather, vertical title in pink lettering, author's and artist's name and date in gilt at head and tail, crystal Plexiglas covers with black morocco bands featuring the thin left-hand part of the original cover in painted decoration, revealing the 2 covers of the preserved cover illustrated in color, spine preserved, case (D.-H. Mercher). Very fine illustrations by Carlos Schwabe, comprising 34 compositions including the cover, a frontispiece, 12 full-page hors texte, floral compositions on the false titles, headpieces and endpapers. Edition at 165 deluxe copies; n°LX of 25 on Rives vellum with a suite of all the illustrations in black on Chine. A very fine copy of one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau books, perfectly established by Mercher.
