Ruy Blas. Drama in five acts. A portrait and fifteen etchings by Adrien Moreau, engraved by Champollion. Paris, Librairie L. Conquet, 1889. In-8 bradel long-grain morocco, gilt title, triple gilt fillet on spine and covers, gilt date on tail, double gilt fillet on edges, interior lace, covers preserved, slipcase with edges (Carayon). A very fine present-day copy on Marais vellum, offered by the publisher to the bookbinder Carayon and enriched with a very fine ORIGINAL AQUARELLE signed by J. PAQUIN on the false title and a L.A.S. from actor MOUNET-SULLY (Bergerac 1841 - Paris 1916, member of the Comédie-Française, played the role of Ruy Blas in 1879) dated December 25, 1893 (thanking the addressee for sending him a cassoulet!).
