In-4 plum morocco, four double-ribbed spine, gilt title, gilt edges, red morocco lining framed by a green morocco listel and two gilt fillets with gilt arms in the center, red moire endpapers, color illustrated cover and spine preserved, in a slipcase (Affolter - J. Augoyat sr.). Color cover and 14 black engraved illustrations (including 8 hors-texte) by R. Freida. Edition of 475 copies; no. 17 of the top 25 on Japon impérial, containing a suite of engravings on Japon in sanguine, a suite on Hollande in black and a suite on Hollande in sanguine. A very fine copy.
