It features 85 original compositions by George Barbier, wood-engraved in color by Pierre Bouchet, including the cover and 13 hors texte. Small edition of 120 copies on vellum. EXEMPLAIRE DE PIERRE BOUCHET, with : - a double suite on Japon, one in black and the other in color, of all the illustrations - a color decomposition of one of the plates - 14 headbands on silk paper - an original stencil on wood paper - the dinner menu of June 26, 1929, in quadruple state, including two before the letter, and one bearing 38 autograph signatures, mostly in pencil, including those of Louis Barthou and Clément-Janin - the text on the title page in ink and stencil. These suites are housed in two small in-4 blue half-percaline portfolios, with dark blue and silver papeier boards and flaps.
