Paris, Jules Renouard, 1829. 5 volumes, large in-8, marbled calf, ornate smooth spines, red marble title-papers, gilt garland framing the covers, gilt heads. Spines slightly faded. Marginal foxing in places. Complete with 18 out-of-text figures, including 15 by Moreau le jeune. Copy on large wove paper with a suite of engravings on Chine before the letter (Cohen 369.)
