Paris, Bossange, Masson et Besson, an IV (1796 vulg. era). 4 vol. in-8, red morocco, richly decorated ribbed spines, green mar. title and tomaison, fine gilt framing on boards, gilt edges (period binding). Reprint of the 1787 edition (known as ""du Dauphin"") by Didot l'aîné, also published in 6 vol. in-12 by Bossange. Complete with frontispiece and 275 figures drawn by Vivier and engraved by Simon and Coiny outside the text. A very fine copy in contemporary morocco (Cohen, 554).
