First bookstore edition (after the pre-original serialized in Le Bien Public in 1877 and the separate, non-commercial edition published the same year, which is the true original). N°95 of 150 on Hollande. N°65 of 100 on Hollande. A fine copy, complete with folding plate showing the Rougon-Macquart family tree (Vicaire VII, 1204.)
