Why and how should you have your works of art and objets d'art appraised?

Ask for a valuation and put all the chances on your side in the event of a sale, inheritance, division or theft.

Armed with your appraisal file or inventory :

 

  • Insure your works of art at their fair value and assert your rights in the event of loss or theft.

 

  • In the event of theft, make it easy for the relevant authorities to identify your possessions.

 

  • Facilitate the succession process by providing a reliable basis for the division of furniture, paintings, jewellery and works of art.

 

  • Discover the exact value of your furniture

There is a charge for an expert valuation or a written inventory. However, a valuation followed by a sale is free of charge.

Before our teams come to your home, we will give you an estimate. The amount is calculated according to the location and volume, and possibly the nature and number of items to be valued.

Request an inventory from MILLON and be reassured by our local service and qualified expertise.

At the end of the inventory, we will auction off all or part of your furniture.

If you need to move your furniture following the inventory, MILLON will store your belongings free of charge until the day of the auction.
