Auctions of vintage, modern and retrogaming toys

The Pop Culture department specialises in the sale of vintage and modern toys, retrogaming, trading cards and anime celluloid.

It offers both indoor and online catalogued sales, with a selection of items including dolls, miniature cars, model railways, toy soldiers, various games and toys, figurines, robots, goodies, consoles and video games, anime celluloid, trading cards (Pokémon, Magic, Yu-gi-Oh).....

A major player in this market in France, our experts and auctioneers are based in Paris on rue de la Grange Batelière, a stone's throw from the Hôtel Drouot, where they bring to bear their expertise and the quality of their work. The Pop Culture department is headed by Alexis Jacquemard and comprises two experts:

  • Jean-Claude CAZENAVE, a legend in antique toy appraisal
  • Camille COSTE, a market reference, scholar and enthusiast of Retrogaming, modern toys and Celluloid.

The Pop Culture auction calendar:

To sell at the best price and satisfy every buyer, the auctions are divided into several events:

  • Sales of vintage toys: These sales feature dolls, lead figurines, tin toys, cars, model railways, automata and various toys ranging from Napoleon III to Charles de Gaulle (1850 - 1960). The department organises two sales a year to welcome these witnesses to childhood, according to very precise chapters and technical specifications.

  • Retrogaming auctions: The department holds two auctions a year, the only ones of their kind in Europe. They are dedicated to the history of video games, with games and consoles from Nintendo, Sega, Neo Geo and others. These successful auctions are open to an ever-growing public.

  • Trading Cards sales: this category is the subject of two sales a year, in cinemas or online. Magic, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh are all on show.

  • Online sales showcase the best of pop culture at affordable prices. These online auctions are ideal for hobbyists, as they allow you to present your items in an attractive way. They offer unlimited access to catalogues and auctions from all over the world.

Don't hesitate to call on our specialists for an expert appraisal if, by any chance, while opening a cupboard you come across a few dusty treasures that could be given a new lease of life by auction.

Do you own a unique and exceptional piece? Millon and its Pop Culture department have also set up "So Unique" auctions. A unique, exceptional, rare item of great value is presented alone to bidders.

Selling works of art at any price: appraisals and estimates.

The Pop Culture department relies on rigorous appraisals to justify precise estimates. Works are certified by specialists and authenticated thanks to irreproachable traceability.

At the heart of Pop Culture auctions, collections are the focus of special attention, to bring out the emotions of collectors and enthusiasts of toys and geek culture.

The catalogues lend themselves to the game by conveying the collector's spirit. The collection can bear the collector's name, or remain anonymous. Don't hesitate to entrust us with the sale of your collection of lead figurines or Pokémon cards!

The department's sales achieve excellent results, with a 95% success rate and 150% of estimates met!
