Watchmaking is one of Millon's flagship disciplines.

In Paris, the team is made up ofElio Guerin, head of the department, and specialist Alexis Francis-Boeuf. In search of the rare pearl, the extraordinary watch and the most sought-after complications, our experts organise almost 50 free appraisal days a year to be at your side.

Alexis Francis-Boeuf, who worked for several years in a boutique specialising in top-of-the-range timepieces, puts his expertise and knowledge at your service .Elio Guerin worked with a number of auction houses before taking charge of this department dedicated to his passion. He offers expertise and advice on developing the best sales strategies.

Celia Lecoq provides administrative support and ensures that customer relations run smoothly, listening to buyers and sellers alike. Don't hesitate to contact her.

Millon's Watchmaking department naturally operates in France and Belgium alongside the Jewellery department, which is itself bi-national. In Brussels, you will be accompanied bySébastien Delbar, an enthusiast and collector himself.

 

The sales calendar for watch enthusiasts

In response to strong demand, six specialist auctions are organised each year. They are regular and unmissable events.

 

• The "Masters" auctions bring together exceptional timepieces. Few lots are selected, but they are selected with particular care. They receive special attention, with exhaustive descriptions. These sales take place in the Drouot district, in the presence of an auctioneer.
• Watch sales in the VV room in the Drouot district highlight the diversity of watches and clocks, with items at all price levels. These sales take place in the presence of an auctioneer.
• Online auctions punctuate these events, presenting the lots clearly through photographs and careful descriptions.

 

Every year, Millon is proud to present works from some of the greatest European and international collections, as well as exceptional and extremely rare watches.

As pioneers, we have been organising specialised auctions for over 40 years. From 18th-century carriage watches to contemporary Patek Philippe grand complications, our watch auctions present an eclectic selection of the finest manufacturers: Patek Philippe, Breguet, Rolex, Vacheron Constantin and Cartier. We are always on the lookout for rare and unique timepieces.

 

Some of our watch sales results

Our watch sales boast some excellent results:

• A ROLEX men's diving watch, Submariner Comex "Big Number" model (c. 1978) fetched €80,000 at a 2022 auction. The case features a helium decompression valve, and the movement is mechanical with automatic winding.
• An AUDEMARS-PIGUET men's watch in gold fetched €50,000. This "Royal Oak - OffShore" model features an internal tachometric bezel.
• A PATEK PHILIPPE watch, Reference 96 "Sector Dial" fetched the handsome price of 46,000 euros. This rare mechanical men's watch had a numbered stainless steel staybrite case.
