Maître Claude ROBERT (1924-2014): 60 years of passion

Discover Maître Robert's 60 years of passion through the catalogues of these studio sales held at 5 avenue d'Eylau, during the second half of the 19th century.

Auctioneer (since 1951), President of the Compagnie des commissaires-priseurs de Paris (1975-76), Partner in the companies of auctioneers Millon et Robert (since 1990) and voluntary auctioneers MILLON et associés (since 2002), Doyen of the Compagnie des commissaires-priseurs de Paris (2002).

Maître Claude Robert ventes d'atelier

Every week since the 1950s, Maître Robert has been inviting his clients to his famous address at 5 avenue d'Eylau, Trocadéro, considered to be the "fourth auction house in Drouot".

After the exhibition in the prestigious Haussmann flat, the auction often became a show of eloquence, with amateurs and collectors bidding under the hammer of Maître Robert. It was customary for the studio sale to continue in the mysterious vaulted cellars of the Parisian building, with a glass of champagne in hand..
