Biography :

Dani OLIVIER, born in Paris, graduated from HEC, is a photographer who lives and works in Paris.

He creates portraits that combine painting and photography, to highlight the beauty of women, and reveal them in their double dimension of body and soul. The models and the settings are naked. The make-up is minimalist to leave all their place to the images, and thus to situate them out of the modes, the world and the time. Through complex lighting effects coupled with gestures and movements, he creates his special effects during the shooting. Faithful to the moment, the image obeys a principle of authenticity and integrity: no retouching, no alterations.

For the past few years, he has been developing optical works, which invite us to travel over imaginary countries. The warm and fiery light that escapes from the work opens the door to meditation and inspiration. Each angle of view offers a different vision. The skyscrapers seem to go on forever, as if by magic, thanks to an amazing optical system.

In September 2021, he will be lighting Dita Von Teese for the TF1 show "Danse avec les Stars". Dani OLIVIER has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in France and abroad.
