Biography :
Hubert de WATRIGANT was born in the Landes region of France, from a family belonging to the equestrian world. Self-taught, he obtained an international prize for drawing in Rome in 1977 and since then has been exhibiting his work in numerous shows and exhibitions. From 1982 onwards, he went abroad to make his work known, particularly in the USA, Hong Kong, Europe and Japan, where he works regularly. He has also collaborated for several years with Hermès for whom he has created, among other things, numerous squares...
A recognized animal painter, he exhibits all over the world, and his works are regularly found in American galleries, in Paris, in London and in Japan. Thanks to his different techniques and supports, Hubert de Watrigant offers us a magnificent variety of paintings with each new exhibition.
