Cardboard maker's clock in chased and gilded bronze, the movement surmounted by an urn and flanked by lion mittens holding laurelled rings. The whole is carried by an entablature formed of scrolls decorated with acanthus leaves, palmettes, friezes of pearls and laurel wreaths. The white marble base rests on four flattened ball feet.
