Made as a copy of BERGONZI, from which it bears the label "...Bergonzi fecit Cremonae... 1743". Two-piece maple back with regular waves. Orange-brown varnish on gold background. Spruce top with fine pores in the center, widening slightly at the edges. 361 mm. With box and broken bow. German violin. 19th century.
